Ok, I have to admit that besides the fact that the guy on the picture above was our model for the fading logo-tee, there´s nothing this post has to do with seen. or Jamaican popular culture.

Rickards a.k.a. the edgiest non-official member of the Jamaican Tourist Board (ye, the one who ties his models to wheelchairs after going out to the movies) sent me a link to a series of pictures he took at a Mavado-show in Toronto, Canada, yesterday. Walshy Killa also known as Walshy Fire (caught by some paparazzi with Don Everest in the picture above), member of the imfamous Black Chiney soundsystem, has started his own blog. It deals with “music, fashion, and life” and everything else “that happens in the world of the Skank Krew”. So don´t waste no time and surf over to “the non believers, the few” - where “mod meets rudeboy” and “Clarks, mesh marinas, and fur hats” rule the place.

Reading through the blog of De-Bug magazine, this special 7inch caught my attention: it is regular vinyl on the one and a regular DVD on the other side! Best of both worlds inna different style.. More information on the wicked product can be found here.
Just a few days ago I stumbled over a website called www.riottt.com. It´s an “open platform for expression” - an e-zine combining videos, music, stories, photos, blogs and podcasts that are contributed by a bunch of “riot leaders” as well as community members.
Looking for some reggae-related content, I found a beautiful Dante Ross RMX of the Beres Hamond tune “No Disturb Sign” (see player above) as well as a link to download the “Sizzla Hour” Queen Majesty did for her East Village Radio show a while ago.
